For this exercise, we will divide up into groups. Each group will analyze one of the four contenders for the US Presidency.
With each site, what I am interested in is your comments on the User Experience—in whatever way you understand that term.
The sites are here:
- Hillary Clinton
- Donald Trump
- Bernie Sanders
- Ted Cruz
- Marco Rubio (he’s out now, so we’re using an archived version)
In your group, take 5 – 10 minutes to examine each candidate’s site.
- Compare what appears to be the primary goals of each
- Assess how well each does that
- Are there contradictory elements?
- How do the sites handle different screen sizes?
- Are there any typical web idioms that the size depends on, or doesn’t?
- Is anything confusing?
- What range of users does the site address?
- What range of users does the site neglect?
